Morel(M)

DESCRIPTION:

AT-MOREL (M) provides quick, clean and easy stripping of form, mould and shutter. It ensures high quality of fair faced and stain free concrete. AT-MOREL (M) works on wood, aluminum formwork (mivan type), steel, plywood, plastics, FRP, etc.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

USES:

• AT-MOREL (M) It is used on most types of formwork to give an optimum release and quality of surface finish to concrete, over a wide range of mix designs.

COVERAGE:

• For untreated wooden surface – Approx. 25 sqmt per ltr depending on porosity
• For steel, plastic or treated wooden surface – Approx. 50 sqmt per ltr depending on texture and porosity

APPLICATION:

• The surface of the shutters should be cleaned before coating AT-MOREL (M) which should then be sprayed, preferably by low sprayer. This will permit the quoted rates of spread to be obtained. Brush application may also be employed but the material should be well brushed to obtain the most economical and effective results. Formwork should preferably be treated before being erected, thus avoiding the contamination of reinforcement.
• AT-MOREL (M) should be applied to the formwork prior to use, but once applied it can be exposed to weather conditions up to two weeks in case of timber forms and up to three weeks in case of steel forms. If exposure is for longer periods, a further application of AT-MOREL (M) should be made. In precast work, where moulds are struck in less than 12 hours, AT-MOREL (M) is a must. Where moulds are rusty or they have a buildup of old concrete, they should be coated with AT-MOREL (M) and left overnight.
• Before use, they should be cleaned down and then scrubbed with 50% mixture of AT-MOREL (M) and kerosene. This will clean the working surfaces and AT-MOREL (M) can be used in the usual manner.

• AT-MOREL (M) is available in the following pack:
  • 50 lts & 200 ltrs container
• Shelf life is 12 months in sealed containers as provided
• Keep containers sealed and away from heat and cold in a well ventilated area
• Stir material well before use

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes with goggles.
• Accidental splashes to the skin or eyes must be rinsed immediately with clean water.
• Store in well-labeled containers.
• If required get medical attention.
